And my personal opinion is that spells in this game are absolutely rubbish and should never be the focus of a mission you should never go after a mission just to get a spell. If jenny didn't open the Other World you should have this character go for it.Ĥ) Gloria goes after the Other World Jenny opened up.Įvery game I play this way ends with Gloria having a ton of items and spells and she can mop up the remaining Elder Signs to win the game. Most Other World locations have an Elder Sign so Gloria wil mostly be getting them more than the other characters.ġ) Jenny opens an Other World, gets item as rewardĢ) Joe goes after anything with a clue rewardģ) Mandy or random character goes after a mission that plays to their strength ie if you're using Wilson wou don't want to go after a mission requiring Terror since there's no terror icon on the yellow dice. Gloria is the real work horse in this game and keeping her last in the lineup lets the other characters take out missions and if one comes up that can open an Other World location you should immediately try to complete that to set up Gloria. Same with Joe only go after missions where he gets clues. She should only go to missions where she can get items, clues or spells as a reward. Jenny is probably the most powerful character and should be on every single team. The key strategy is to play to each characters abilites. Also you can switch out Mandy with other characters but her ability to re roll 2 glyphs is pretty handy. It's absolutely critical that you put Gloria last in the lineup. This is my go to team for ES:Omens: Jenny Barnes, Joe Diamond, Mandy Thompson and Gloria Goldberg.
